About Zirconium Nitride (ZrN) Powder
Zirconium nitride (ZrN) compound has various crystal structures with changes in composition. For example, in Zr-N alloy system, the alloy compounds that have been discovered are ZrN, o-Zr3N4, c-Zr3N4. They have excellent chemical properties and can be used not only in Josephson junctions, diffusion stacks, low-temperature gauges, etc., but also in three-dimensional integrated electric coils and metal-based transistors. Meanwhile, these Zr-N compounds are superior to pure zirconium in terms of wear resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, and have a higher superconducting critical temperature, so they may become very good superconductors and have high use value.
Zirconium nitride has good neutron properties, thermophysical properties and chemical stability under high temperature environments. It has a high melting point and meets the selection requirements of the IMF materials for the fourth-generation nuclear fission system.

Typical Applications:
Zirconium nitride is mainly used in the protective layer alloy materials of nuclear industrial reactors, the high temperature resistant alloy materials of the jet nozzles of aerospace rocket engines, the alloy materials of artillery missiles, and also the corrosion resistant materials for the production of petrochemical reducing chloride reactors or containers. At the same time, it is also widely used in industrial fields, such as the anti-corrosion layer and decoration layer of digital products such as automotive accessories, mobile phones and other communication equipment and cameras, as well as the diffusion barrier of circuit devices. The main applications of zirconium nitride in other fields include: based on its excellent electrical conductivity, it can be used as an electrical contact layer in the electronics industry, and based on its low friction coefficient and good sliding properties, it can be used as a composite layer in tribology.
