The Zinc Telluride Sputtering Target is made of high quality zinc telluride (ZnTe), which is s a group II – VI compound with the chemical formula ZnTe. The reddish brown zinc telluride is prepared by heating tellurium and zinc together in hydrogen atmosphere and sublimating. Because of its wide band gap, ZnTe is often used to make semiconductor materials. Zinc telluride crystals also have good electro-optic effect under the action of near-infrared (~800 nm) ultrashort pulses. ZnTe is a commonly used optical rectification THz radiation source and detection material. It is used in optoelectronic devices, such as green light emitting devices, solar cells, waveguides, and modulators.

Packing and Storage

Standard Packing: Packed in sealed bags with labels. Items will be packed properly to avoid damage during transit.

Storage: Store in dry environment, sealed packages. Handle with care, prevent pressure and collision.

Note:

  1. Before using, observe whether the surface is clean. Wear clean gloves to operate. Avoid direct contact with materials by hand and avoid contamination by oil and other things.
  2. Indium bonding: max. operating temperature 150°C; Elastomer bonding: max. operating temperature 250°C.
