Yttrium Oxide Powder (Y2O3 Powder) is white/yellow powder, insoluble in water and alkali, soluble in acid. It is mainly used for manufacturing magnetic materials for microwave, as well as additives for optical glass, ceramic materials, high brightness phosphor for large screen TV and other picture tube coatings. NCE can provide different purity levels of Y2O3, and super fine Y2O3 powder with the particle size D50 <1 µm, even nano Y2O3. Get a Quote Now! Synonyms: Yttrium(III) oxide, Yttria

Typical application:

  1. It is an important material for military industry (single crystal; yttrium iron garnet, yttrium aluminum garnet and other composite oxides).
  2. It is also used to make film capacitors and special refractories, as well as magnetic bubble materials for high-pressure mercury lamps, lasers, storage elements, etc.
  3. The addition of yttrium oxide during sintering can effectively reduce the grain size of tungsten alloy.
