About Silicon Carbide (SiC) Grinding Ball

The silicon carbide ceramic has the basic properties and main characteristics of high hardness, high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, good thermal conductivity and high thermal efficiency. It is one of the best products in the field of industrial ceramics.

Pressureless sintering is a conventional sintering method. It refers to a method of sintering by heating products under atmospheric pressure. It is the most commonly used and simplest sintering method.

Pressureless sintered silicon carbide (SiC) ceramics are made of high-purity and ultra-fine silicon carbide powder as raw materials, adding a small amount of sintering aids such as boron and carbon, and sintering in an inert gas atmosphere or vacuum at 1950-2100°C under normal pressure. The product is almost completely dense and has excellent mechanical properties.

The silicon carbide ceramic ball has the characteristics of high hardness and high wear resistance. It adopts a new isostatic pressing molding process, with high product density, low wear and good roundness of the ball. It has good fluidity in the grinding process and improves the grinding efficiency. It can also be used as a bearing ball in some demanding environments.
