1. Rare earth permanent magnet is the most popular application field.
2. Adding 1.5-2.5% of Neodymium to magnesium or aluminum alloy can improve the high temperature performance, air tightness and corrosion resistance of the alloy, which is widely used as aerospace materials.
3. Neodymium doped yttrium aluminum garnet produces a short wave laser beam, which is widely used in industry for welding and cutting of thin materials with thickness less than 10 mm.
4. Neodymium is also used for coloring glass and ceramic materials and additives for rubber products.
