Chromium oxide sputtering targets are made of high purity chromium oxide, which is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula Cr2O3. Cr2O3 is light green to dark green fine hexagonal crystal. It turns brown when it’s hot and stays green when it’s cold. The crystal is very hard and stable. There is no change even when hydrogen is introduced into the crystal under red heat. It is soluble in heated potassium bromate solution, slightly soluble in acids and alkalis, but almost insoluble in water, ethanol and acetone. And it’s irritating.

Typical Applications:

Absorption film, low temperature (900°C) red glaze. It can be added to enamel to obtain green. It is used for enamel bottom glaze or surface glaze and can be used in enamel to produce chrome tin pink or chrome green.

Packing and Storage

Standard Packing: Packed in sealed bags with labels. Items will be packed properly to avoid damage during transit.

Storage: Store in dry environment, sealed packages. Handle with care, prevent pressure and collision.

Note:

  1. Before using, observe whether the surface is clean. Wear clean gloves to operate. Avoid direct contact with materials by hand and avoid contamination by oil and other things.
  2. Chromium bonding: max. operating temperature 150°C; Elastomer bonding: max. operating temperature 250°C.
