About Magnesium Titanate (MgTiO3& Mg2TiO4) Powder
Magnesium Titanate Powder (MgTiO3 Powder) is an inorganic compound. It is a white powder and mainly used as an additive in ceramic dielectric components. It can also be used as an electret in alternator and radiographic detector devices.
Magnesium titanate, as a basic dielectric material, is widely used in the field of precision electronic ceramics such as capacitor ceramic substrates. The “solid phase synthesis” process is adopted to manufacture excellent magnesium titanate and metatitanate under strict quality control.
Properties: the main crystal phase is magnesium orthotitanate (2MgO·TiO2) ceramic material. Spinel structure. The relative dielectric constant is about 20, and the dielectric loss tangent is about (1 ~ 3)x10-4.
The main raw materials are titanium dioxide and magnesite, and a small amount of clay and fluorite are added to improve the sintering performance. It is fired in the oxidation reaction at 1400~1470°C using general electronic ceramic technology. By adjusting the ratio of titanium to magnesium in the formula, the material with dielectric constant and temperature coefficient near zero can be obtained. It is widely used in the manufacture of thermally stable ceramic capacitors and microwave dielectric resonators.

Other Trade Names: magnesium titanium oxide, titanate magnesium, Mg2TiO4
Typical Applications:
Magnesium titanate is a very important microwave dielectric ceramic material because of its low dielectric loss, low dielectric constant, resonant frequency and temperature coefficient. Dielectric ceramics based on magnesium titanate have good dielectric properties at microwave frequency. It is a mature high-frequency thermal stable material at present.
